About Joshua:

I'm Joshua and I am an experienced and patient math and science tutor. I work with people of any age, and have tutored many junior high, high school, college, and returning students. I tutor math through 2nd year calculus (Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus/Math Analysis, and AP AB/BC Calculus) and basic high school and college sciences (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology including AP courses). I am also fluent in Spanish and proficient in Mandarin and have experience teaching and translating both of them.

I graduated from high school in the top 1% of my class, and passed ~10 AP exams. I then moved on to the College of William and Mary where I graduated Magna cum Laude with a BA in Linguistics. In total, I've tutored for 9 years, having done so through high school and college.

Being that I am self-employed, I can usually work around my students' schedules. I'm available:

T all day
W 9am - 4pm
H all day
F 9 am - 4pm

If these times don't work, I'm available some weekends as well. I charge $25 per session, each session lasting about 2 hours.

I tutor because I love to teach, and those I tutor like me because I am patient and understanding. Remember that getting good grades is not about being smart; it's about motivation, focus, and effort.
